Now is the best time to invest

When the economy is in a slump, Financial Experts always advise you to continue investing. Why, because the value of your investment will increase as the economy recovers. The same principle can be applied to talent acquisition. The current economy has seen many companies downsize or close their doors altogether. Consequently many Top candidates who were previously unavailable are now scrambling to find new opportunities. 

I’ve heard this same sentiment echoed time and time again over the last few months from hiring Managers. Every Manager I spoke with at a recent Legal trade show conveyed the same message. “I’m being inundated with resumes, but don’t have the time to sort through them.” The state of the economy over the past year has created a doubled-edged-sword for employers. Because they are being bombarded with candidates, many organizations are lulled into a false sense of security.
